How Do I Figure Out What Size Tablecloth I need?

Follow steps 1 - 3 to figure out what size of tablecloth you need for your table:

1st - You need to know the dimensions of your table and the shape.

2nd - You need to figure out how many inches you want your fabric to hang over the table. This is known as the drop. What is the drop you want?

Typically for standard dinning room tables most desire a 10" - 12" drop (this is usually lap level).

15" for standard banquet tables

29"-30" to the floor

3rd - Once you know the dimension of your table and the drop you desire then all you need to do is multiply the drop by two and add it to each dimension (width & length) or (circumference).

Example:

You have a table which is a 36" width by 60" length Rectangle; Your desired drop is 12"

Calculate as follows:

12" drop x 2 = 24" (will hang 12" on each side)

Add 36" Width + 24" = 60"
Add 60" Length + 24" = 84"

RECTANGLE CLOTH SIZE NEEDED = 60" X 84"

Figuring Round cloths is similar. Say your circumference is 60" and you want a 10" drop. You would multipy 10" x 2 = 20" and then add the 20" to the 60" circumference which would tell you that you need a 80" Round Tablecloth.

Please feel free to give us a call if you need any assistance figuring out what size of cloth you need.
