    Percale stands for a weaving process in which a fabric is woven. In percale the yarns are woven one over one, unlike Sateen where itís four over one. The one over one (percale) weave creates an even, stronger, denser & softer fabric. Percale woven fabrics stand the test of time and feels better the more you wash it. The more it's washed the softer and more durable it gets.
